Young ruggers impress top NZ official

THE chairman of the New Zealand Schools Rugby Union Garry Chronican was impressed with the performance of players  in the Powerade Super Deans Championships finals last Saturday.

Chronican is confident these students can make it into the Super Rugby level and into international rugby competitions.

“Without a doubt, we’ve already seen some of the marvellous players that are playing Super Rugby in New Zealand and Australia and in the All Blacks, so yes there are so many players capable of reaching that standard,” Chronican said.
