IT was an overwhelming experience at the Kinoya Methodist Church today when the church celebrated mother’s day.

For the first time in a long time the church saw young mothers who took the lead role in leading the sermon.

Kinoya Methodist Church women fellowship leader Loasilini Tatatau said this year’s mother’s day was different from all mother’s day celebration the church has had.

“Our lives were touched when we saw the young mothers who took the lead role in taking part during the service,” she said.

Mrs Tatatau has urged young mothers to be part of a women fellowship group as this would boost their spiritual life.

“During these difficult times, it is the word of God that will help us withstand every trials and tribulations in life.”
