NEWLY-appointed head teacher for Yat Sen Primary School Miliakere Varani hopes the inducted prefects would take up the responsibility to assist her and the teachers in leading the school throughout the year.
Forty prefects were inducted today at the Yat Sen Secondary School hall in front of parents, teachers, guests, and students.
Mrs Varani said she hoped the newly-appointed prefects would be great role models for the students in their leadership roles.
“My expectation for the prefects inducted today is for them to be good role models to the students,” she said.
“They need to be the first ones doing duties and having good qualities in order for the other students to see and follow.”
The prefects were badged by their parents and guardians.
