Yalalevu wins the Vodafone National Club Championship title

THE Yalalevu football side from Be has won the 2018 Vodafone National Club Championship title.

The Shalen Lal coached side edged Nailaga FC 1-nil in the final.

National and Ba midfielder Malakai Tiwa scored the winner in the 44th minute with a header.

Nailaga FC captain Saula Waqa was sent off midway through the first half after a second bookable offence.

This was the first time for Yalalevu in the competition.

The side received $5000 for the win while Nailaga FC walked away with $1500.
