Update: 3:47PM THE Walk on Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji foundation held its first-ever workshop for parents in Lautoka today.

The workshop is designed to educate and assist parents caring for children living with cancer.

WOWS Kids Fiji team leader Viola Lesi said the workshop would also enhance the support being offered by the organisation.

“The kind of support that we’ve offered so far has been practical, which also included providing transport, medication costs, and diagnostics,” Ms Lesi said.

“But now we want to expand our services by offering more support programs for our kids and their parents.”

The second workshop by WOWS Kids Fiji will be held in Suva.
