WALK on Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji hosted its first central family fun day for children in Suva yesterday.
The event was organised to provide fun activities for children and to celebrate the birthday of children born in the first quarter of the year.
WOWS Kids Fiji co-founder Sina Kami said children were invited with their families to network and have a fun time.
She said this was their first get together this year as COVID-19 restricted them from having the family fun day in the previous months.
“We do this every month. Since we got COVID-19, we haven’t been able to get together, so this is our first get together,” she said.
“We invited the children and there are 16 that are here, however, three of them had to be re-admitted for treatment.”
She said WOWS Kids Fiji was supporting 67 children from all around Fiji.
“We support children whose family have been affected by COVID-19 and are facing hardship,” she said.
