UNIVERSAL health coverage can only be achieved through collaborative efforts in safe health practices, says Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete.
He highlighted this while addressing participants at the World Health Assembly at Geneva, Switzerland this week.
“Today we gather as a community of the world to address this core issue because safe surgery is at the heart of Universal Health Coverage and without safe surgery we cannot achieve UHC,” he said.
