A MINI seminar for the 2018 World Antibiotic Awareness is currently underway at the conventional center at Novotel in Lami.

The AAW was launched by Permanent Secretary for Agriculture David Kolitagane as part of awareness and advocacy events across the world.

The launch reflects Fiji’s ongoing commitment to combat the global health security risks posed by increasing antimicrobial resistance.

Celebrated annually, this year’s AAW will run from November 12-18.
