Work begins at new Nabouwalu town site

CONSULTANTS have begun work with town developers at the new Nabouwalu Town site in Bua on Vanua Levu.

Minister for  Local Government Premila Kumar who toured Bua earlier this week said the contractors had started with the development of the land.

“Consultants are working with the developer and the development processes,” Mrs Kumar said.

“The idea is to develop this satellite town because Nabouwalu is very important from an economic point of view.”

Nabouwalu has a population of about 2000 people.
