Women’s rugby 7s

The dailies reported that our Fiji women’s 7s team is aiming for a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Their performance has been inconsistent and below par and they sit on 10th position in the current HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series.
They are in Pool B with England, Australia and Wales in the Commonwealth Games Sevens competition.
Since there are only two pools and the first two top teams from each pool qualifies for the semi-finals, then our girls really have to win at least two games for a medal chance.
They play two games tomorrow against England and Australia, and Wales on Saturday.
I believe if they lose both games tomorrow then they can kiss their medal dream goodbye.
But we know our current situation in Fiji and the win by our boys to make it four in a row at Hong Kong will drive coach Tanivula’s girls to win a medal for Fiji.
Go Fiji, go.
