A WIFE, who is charged with act intended to cause grievous bodily harm to her husband, appeared at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
The woman appeared before judge Justice Daniel Goundar yesterday.
State lawyer Rajneel Kumar sought 21 days to file information and disclosures in the matter.
He also informed the court that the State would perhaps consider a lesser charge of unlawful wounding against the accused.
He told court that the husband of the accused had approached the State and informed that reconciliation had been done between the two, however, Mr Kumar said the prosecution would not consider this reconciliation.
Justice Goundar transferred the matter to the Suva Magistrates Court. The matter will be called on April 9.
