Wesley: Fiji Times stands poised in an ocean of moments

TODAY we stand poised in an ocean of moments, reaching out for the reigns of change so that we may take hold of our destiny.

The Fiji Times Editor in Chief, Fred Wesley said these words at The Fiji Times 150th anniversary ball held at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva tonight.

Wesley says The Fiji Times is neutral and it strives to ensure any perception that paints The Fiji Times otherwise is easily washed off.

“We are now proudly owned in Fiji and our good people are once again doing their best with heads held high,” Wesley said.

“Together we can do good for this country and we hope to live up to the image that has etched indelible marks on the minds of hundreds of thousands of readers over the past 150 years of our existence.”
