THE Williams & Gosling Limited sponsored Open Mixed Fours Tournament will be played at the Lautoka Bowling Club from October 18-19. Entry fee: $100 per team. Entry is limited to the first 16 teams that pay their entry fee. Deposit into ANZ Lautoka account no: 2475100. Closing time is 5pm on October 16. Team to comprise of two male and two female bowlers. Prizes: Winner: $460, Runner-up $300, Losing semi-finalist $120.
THE Navua Football Association Local League competition will be held at the Vashist Primary School grounds in Navua on Sunday. Clubs are requested to be on ground one hour before their game and have paid the fine before the game. Team registration close before the game.

THE Lautoka Men’s and Women’s training runs will be held from 1pm to 4pm. It is compulsory to all reps in the current training squad for the upcoming IDC in Suva to attend these training sessions. Players must come in full gear with one coloured and one white t-shirt. Players that do not attend this session tomorrow will not be considered for the IDC district teams.
NOTE: Tomorrow from 6pm onwards will be our very first ever ‘launching of Lautoka Hockey’s new jerseys’ at the Northern Club. It’s a barrel night for $20 a ticket plus finger foods and once the kegs go dry then you are free to purchase from the clubs bar – some tickets are on sale at the moment and some will be sold at the door from 6pm. Proceeds from the barrel night will go towards the expenses for the IDC trip to Suva next weekend.

THE Lautoka Volleyball Association will officially open the new season tomorrow at the multipurpose courts starting at 10am. A knockout tournament will be held. Registration fee: $20, Court fee: $10.
