A weak trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the northern part of Fiji.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says associated cloud and showers will affect the northern and eastern parts of the country.

The forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group expect cloudy with some showers and few thunderstorms over the northern and eastern parts of the group.

Elsewhere, fine apart from possible afternoon or evening showers.

Moderate east to southeast winds, becoming predominantly southerly later today with moderate seas.

The outlook for Friday expect brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands. Possible afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
