A WEAK low pressure system remains slow moving just to the West of Fiji.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says an associated cloud and showers with northerly winds affects the country.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional showers over western, northern and interior of larger islands, Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group. Elsewhere, fine weather apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers.

There is likely also to be isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls and localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

For mariners expect moderate to fresh northwest to northeast winds and rough seas.

The outlook for Tuesday expect some showers over the eastern parts and the interior of larger islands.

Elsewhere, fine weather apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers.
