A WEAK trough of low pressure remains slow moving just to the north of Fiji.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this afternoon says the low pressure is expected to affect the group from Friday.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect cloudy periods with brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.

Elsewhere fine apart from possible afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.

Moderate southeast winds, fresh at times.

For mariners expect moderate to rough seas.
