A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects the group.
This is according to the weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional showers and few thunderstorms over eastern parts and interior of the larger islands, Lau, Lomaiviti, Yasawa and Mamanuca group.
Some showers and isolated thunderstorms elsewhere.
Isolated heavy falls likely.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh at times. Moderate seas.
The outlook for Sunday expect occasional showers and few thunderstorms over Vanua levu, Lau and Lomaiviti group.
Some showers over eastern parts and interior of Viti Levu. Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
