THE strong wind warning previously in force for land areas of Yasawa is now cancelled.

An associated cloud and showers is expected to affect the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Meanwhile, a high pressure system to the south of Fiji directs a fresh to strong southeast wind flow over the group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group for Yasawa, Vanua Levu, eastern parts and interior of the larger islands expect cloudy periods and occasional showers.
Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls likely.
For the rest of Fiji expect fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and cool at night.
And for mariners expect moderate to fresh southeast winds, gusting at times with moderate to rough seas.
