1 February, 2019, 5:25 am
BE prepared for possible flash flooding in low-lying areas, the Fiji Meteorological Service has warned.
A trough of low pressure with cloud and showers is expected to affect the Western Division from today.
In its latest bulletin, the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi stated that a moist easterly wind flow prevailed over the Fiji group.
The centre has forecast cloudy periods with some showers in the Eastern parts and interior parts of the larger islands.
Elsewhere, expect cloudy afternoon or evening showers and isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls and localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding in low lying areas.
