Weather watch: No flooding reports received

THERE have not been any reports of flooding in major towns in Viti Levu so far today.

Fiji Times Online has been able to establish that no reports of flooding have been received by Police stations in Nausori, Navua, Sigatoka, Rakiraki, Koro and Levuka.

While Levuka, Koro and Navua have been experiencing slight drizzles from this morning, no major threats of flooding have been reported.

Meanwhile, according to a Special Weather Bulletin released this afternoon by the Fiji Met Office, a heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji and forecast to continue until Wednesday.

A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the Fiji group.
