Weather watch: NDMO advises of low pressure

THE National Disaster Management office has stated that a trough of low pressure is moving over the Southern Western parts of the Fiji group.

Areas affected include Kadavu, Southern and Eastern parts of Viti Levu and the Southern Lau Group.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group shows occasional showers over the Lau group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, the interior, and Southern and Eastern parts of Viti Levu.

“Isolated afternoon or evening thunderstorms with heavy falls possible. Elsewhere, cloudy periods with showers, especially in the afternoon or evening,” the statement said.

The outlook for Friday include showers over most places, isolated thunder storms and heavy falls passable in the afternoon or evening.
