Weather watch: Isolated heavy falls possible

As the weather forecasting centre in Nadi forecasts cloudy periods with some showers over most places around the country today to midnight tomorrow, it has also indicated the possibility of isolated heavy falls.

The Fiji Meteorological office in Nadi has forecast a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers to affect the group till early Saturday.

The centre says showers are expect to start clearing from the West.

There is also a forecast for moderate north to southerly winds, with winds becoming predominantly Southeast tomorrow.

The outlook for Sunday, brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands; fine elsewhere.
