The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says a low pressure system lies slow moving to the west of Fiji.
The associated trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the group with cloud and rain bands affecting most parts of the country till Friday.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional rain, heavy at times and thunderstorms over Vanua Levu,Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group.
Heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

Moderate north to southeast winds, fresh at times with moderate seas.
