A HEAVY rain warning remains in force for the whole Fiji group.

A weather bulletin issued by the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi says a trough of low pressure with cloud and rain remains slow moving over Fiji.

It is expected to drift northwards and affect the group.

As for the forecast to midnight tomorrow,  the Fiji group can expect occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most places.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

For mariners expect moderate east to northeast winds, becoming predominantly southeast today with moderate seas.

The outlook for Monday expect some showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.

Afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
