THE heavy rain warning previously in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and the Lomaiviti Groups has been cancelled.
However, a week trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the country.
According to the Fiji Meteorological Services, the system was expected to affect the group until Tuesday.
The Eastern and interior parts of the larger islands have been forecasted to experience cloudy periods with some showers and evening thunderstorms.
