A HEAVY rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

The special weather bulletin number fifty five for heavy rain issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says an active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect the Fiji group.

Meanwhile, a moist northerly wind flow prevails over the country.

The forecast for Fiji expect periods of rain, heavy at times and squally thunderstorms.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
