Weather watch: Gale warning issued for Rotuma

A GALE warning has been issued for Rotuma as Tropical Depression 12F lies West-Northwest to the island.

A bulletin issued by the Fiji Meteorological Service (FMS) this afternoon stated TD12F was gradually moving South-Southeast at about 8kilometres an hour.

It was located about 410km Northwest of Rotuma at 1pm today.

According to FMS, TD12F and an associated low pressure system was expected to drift South and affect the northern and eastern parts of the group from tomorrow.
