CLOUDY periods with some showers are forecast for the Eastern parts and the interior of the larger islands.
The weather forecasting centre in Nadi says there is a trough of low pressure that remains to the Northwest of the country.
While it will be fine elsewhere, the weatherman has also forecast afternoon or evening showers, and thunderstorms with heavy falls.
It warned that localised heavy falls may led to flash flooding of low-lying areas.

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba:

For Tavua /Rakiraki:
Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls.
For Kadavu:
Cloudy periods with brief showers.
For Labasa :
Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls.
For Savusavu:
Cloudy periods with some showers.
For Rotuma:
A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers lies slow moving over Rotuma; occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.
