Situation: A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers
remains slow moving over the northeastern parts of the group and is
gradually weakening and moving east away from the group. Meanwhile,
another trough of low pressure is anticipated to affect the country
from later Monday.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers and few thunderstorms over Lau and Lomaiviti
group, the eastern parts of Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller
islands. Showers gradually easing later tonight. Cloudy periods with
some showers over the eastern parts and interior of the other larger
islands. Isolated thunderstorms possible. Elsewhere, fine apart from
isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to fresh south to northeast winds, winds turning and
becoming predominantly southeasterly tomorrow.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for Tuesday : Some showers over the eastern parts and
interior of the larger islands. Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated
afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :
Cloudy periods with some showers.
Outlook for Tuesday : Some showers.

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba :
Fine apart from possible isolated afternoon or evening showers and
thunderstorms.
Outlook for Tuesday : Fine apart form isolated afternoon or
evening showers and thunderstorms.

For Labasa :
Showers and isolated thunderstorms especially in the afternoon or
evening.
Outlook for Tuesday : Cloudy periods with showers and
thunderstorms especially in the afternoon or evening.

For Savusavu : Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms
Outlook for Tuesday : Some showers.

For Rotuma : A trough of low pressure with cloud and showers remains
slow moving in the vicinity of Rotuma.
Occasional showers and possible thunderstorms.
Moderate northeast winds.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for Tuesday : Cloudy periods with some showers.

weakening and moving eastwards away from the group. Meanwhile,
another trough of low pressure is anticipated to affect the country
from later Monday.

Forecast to 6am tomorrow for Fiji waters:

South to easterly winds 15 to 20 knots , winds turning and becoming
predominantly southeasterly from later today.
Moderate to rough seas.
Moderate southerly swells.

Further outlook: East to southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate to
rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
