Situation: A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers
remains over the eastern parts of the group. The trough is expected
to gradually weaken and move east away from the group by Monday.
Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers and few thunderstorms over the Lau group. Showers
gradually easing later today. Some showers over the eastern parts of
Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, the eastern parts and
interior of the other larger islands. Isolated thunderstorms
possible. Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening
showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to fresh southerly winds over the western half of the group.
Elsewhere, moderate northeasterly winds, turning and becoming
southeasterly from the west later today.

Outlook for Sunday : Cloudy periods with some showers over the
eastern parts of Vanua Levu and the Lau group, the eastern parts and
interior of the other larger islands. Elsewhere, fine apart from
isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :
Cloudy periods with some showers.
Outlook for Sunday : Cloudy periods with some showers.

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba :
Fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and
thunderstorms.
Outlook for Sunday : Fine apart form isolated afternoon or
evening showers and thunderstorms.

For Labasa :
Some showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Outlook for Sunday : Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms
especially in the afternoon or evening.

For Savusavu : Some showers and isolated thunderstorms
Outlook for Sunday : Cloudy periods with some showers.

For Rotuma :
A trough of low pressure with cloud and showers remains slow moving
over Rotuma.
Occasional showers and few thunderstorms.
Moderate northeast winds.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for Sunday : Cloudy periods with some showers.

A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers remains
over the eastern parts of the group. The trough is expected to
gradually weaken and move east away from the group by Monday.

Forecast to 6am tomorrow for Fiji waters:

Southerly winds 15 to 20 knots over the western half of the group.
Elsewhere, northeasterly winds 10 to 15 knots, winds turning and
becoming southeasterly from the west later today.
Moderate to rough seas.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Further outlook: South to southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate
to rough seas.
