‘We need to be physical’

FIJI Airways Flying Fijians flanker Domoniko Waqaniburotu says the national side needs to be physical against the Ikale Tahi of Tonga on Saturday in Lautoka. The Matuku, Lau rep said the game against the Tongans would be different compared with Georgia.

s because we have players such as Semi Radradra and Leone Nakarawa who have been an influence to new players, especially the young ones.

“This tournament sets a platform heading to the Rugby World Cup next year because the boys get along well together. We have a good opportunity.

“Every game plan changes when we meet a new team. We learn new things every day and we hope that what we learn during training we will execute during the match.”

Head coach John McKee said they would name the team tomorrow.

“Tonga has a good set of players all across. They have a lot of experience. They have a big forward pack and we know how they play. We have seen a lot of good attacking players in their forwards.”

Fiji plays Tonga at 3.30pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
