Water situation: Planned water disruption for Nasinu

THE Water Authority of Fiji is advising its customers living in some elevated areas in Nasinu of temporary water disruptions from 10pm Saturday (17/08/19) evening to 6 am Sunday (18/08/19) morning.

In a statement WAF those affected will experience low water pressure to interment supply, and these includes people living in Kinoya, Vatuwaqa, Raiwai, Raiwaqa and Vesivesi.

“The interruption in supply is to allow WAF engineers to conduct repairs to the leaking DN300 sluice valve supplying water from the Nasinu Reservoir. The leakage site is on the Kings Rd near Nasole Rd junction in Nasinu,” the statement said.

WAF is advising its customers residing in these areas to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
