Water situation: Navua residents advised to store water

Listen to this article:

RESIDENTS in certain parts of Navua are advised that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent supply from today until further notice.

In an advisory issued today, the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) stated the interruption was attributed to the limited water flow from the borehole.

“The authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period,” the authority stated.

“Water supply is expected to be gradually normalised once the flow rate at the borehole improves.”

The following areas are expected to be affected:

  • Queens Highway from Navua Bridge to Nasasa junction
  • Navua Town
  • Naitonitoni
  • Naitata
  • Vuninokonoko
  • Sadro Road
  • Wainidova Road
  • Deuba
  • Vunibau Village
