Low to intermittent water supply will be felt in some parts of Nadi today, attributed to a burst of a 375mm water main along Queens Road.

In a statement, the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advised its customers residing within the affected areas to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

WAF said water carting trucks had been deployed to service the disrupted areas during the temporary disruption period.

WAF is also urging its customers to conserve and always store sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least two to three days in their homes at all times.

Affected areas include:

  • Denarau Road
  • Sharma Street
  • Levula Street
  • Narewa Village
  • Sikituru Village
  • Yavusania Village
  • Maqalevu Village
  • Yakuilau
