Residents living along Drasa Avenue, Veitari Rd and Nadovu Rd in Lautoka are advised to expect intermittent water supply from now until early tomorrow morning – Tuesday, June 02, 2020.
The Water Authority of Fiji has attributed the interruption to a burst main along Vitogo Parade.
The authority said the leakage was complex and had been isolated, and they were working with other utility service providers to carry out the repairs.
The affected areas include Marine Drive, Vitogo Parade, Tavewa Avenue, Drasa Avenue, Narara Parade, Daniva St, Silasila St, Tanoa Waterfront Hotel and Nuqa Place.
Residents are advised to store water and use it wisely for their immediate needs during the temporary disruption period.
