Water situation: Burst main affects supply for Lautoka residents

Hundreds of residents in Lautoka are without water as a result of a burst main along Lautoka’s Vomo Street this hour.

A Water Authority of Fiji official stated the burst main occurred at around 8am and WAF engineers were now on-site working to rectify the issue.

A concerned resident said people were caught off-guard.

Water is expected to be restored to residents in the greater Vomo Street and surrounding areas after midday today.
