The New Zealand High Commission, VaiWai Natural Artesian Waters, and the Rotary Pacific Water for Life Foundation gathered at Viria Public School in Naitasiri last Friday (April 9) to officially commission the Viria Public School Water Project.

Rotary Pacific Water for Life Foundation Board member John Lewis said the support provided to Viria Public School was part of the ‘Enhanced water security in rural villages through improved water and sanitation management project’ funded by New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs through Rotary New Zealand, World Community Services and was co-financed by VaiWai Natural Artesian Waters in Naitasiri and Cakaudrove.

“It is expected that over 100 students and teachers will benefit from this project,” said Mr Lewis.
