MEMBERS of the public are being advised that the Wainavida Crossing located along Lutu Vuisiga Road in Naitasiri will be closed from this Sunday, February 24, 2019, for urgent repairs.
A statement issued last night by the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) of Fiji stated the bridge would be closed from 8am until 4pm on the day to allow for repair works.
FRA said the bridge closure would allow their contractors to carry out important maintenance works and no alternative routes would be available.
Works will include excavating, installing pipes, backfilling and compacting.
Members of the public travelling along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.
