Waidalice bridge scheduled for an upgrade

Listen to this article:

THE Waidalice Bridge in Korovou is on the list of bridges that will be upgraded to a two-lane bridge by the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA).

According to FRA, the bridge is accessible at this time.

“Inspections will be carried out in the next two weeks for maintenance that are required on the existing bridge,” the FRA stated.

The bridge had sustained damage during Tropical Cyclone Winston with the required repair works being carried out in March 2017.

The FRA said routine maintenance patrols of the network were carried out monthly.
