Veteran Fiji 7s halfback Emosi Vucago returns to the starting lineup for BLK Nadroga as they host the visitors from Naitasiri in their Skipper Cup clash today.
The seasoned player gets the nod from coach Esala Nauga to start after an impressive performance in last week’s 33-3 walkover of Tailevu in their first away game of the season.
Nadroga will be determined to stop the black wave from the highlands of Naitasiri who will be looking for redemption at Lawaqa Park where they lost 33-31 in a cliffhanger in their last Skipper Cup meeting on that ground in 2019.
Also returning to the Nadroga side is old warhorse Setefano Somoca sure to add more power in the scrum.
One of the most anticipated matches of the season, as the provincial giants who are currently both tied in second on the points table, have a chance to close the gap or take the lead over current leader and Farebrother Sullivan Trophy holders Namosi.
The match kicks off today at 3:30pm.
