NEWLY elected Fiji Volleyball Federation (FVF) president Nanise Vucago promises to patch the rift that has existed for far too long within their organisation and plans to bring a new approach of holistic development.
“We are in to holistic family and yes we have had our differences in the past but I believe that democracy has allowed us to have a voice,” Vucago said.
She said it was one of their goals to ensure that all their affiliated associations’ voices would be heard and well represented.
This is irrespective of the fact that all the newly elected directors are based in Suva.
According to Vucago, despite the fact that there were no Western Division based directors, they would ensure that all operations that should be done in the West would be done.
“They will also have their own tournaments like the Western rally and that is part of us trying to build our relationship with them.”
The newly elected directors are president Nanise Vucago, vice-president —— Anare Tuitoga, general secretary – Losana Tikoenavuli, director finance —— Osea Nawalu, director competition – Jone Baleilomaloma, director athletes – Laite Nima, director beach —— Josh Tulele, director legal —— Waisale Tabuya, director commercial, marketing, and public relations – Ilaitia Navunigasau and director development – Sainimili Saukuru.
Attempt to contact the previous board of directors remained futile.
