THE 2018 Vodafone Premier League football competition wraps up this weekend with the last six matches.

Tavua, Dreketi, Labasa and Ba all play two matches each while Lautoka, Rewa, Nadi and Suva will play their remaining last match.

On Saturday, Tavua hosts Labasa at 3pm at Garvey Park while at the same time Ba will be playing Dreketi at a venue yet to be confirmed.

Four matches will be played at 3pm on Sunday; Tavua hosts Dreketi at Garvey Park, Lautoka battles Rewa at Churchill Park, Nadi takes on Suva at Prince Charles Park while Ba battles Labasa at a venue yet to be confirmed.

Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel said an exciting round of games would conclude this year’s competition.

“We had to wait for the national team to return from Singapore as some crucial matches remain. The VPL title, OFC Champions League spots, promotion and relegation all depends on the last round.” he said.

Lautoka needs a draw against Rewa to secure the VPL title.

Ba needs one win from two matches to qualify with Lautoka to next seasons OFC Champions League.

Tavua and Dreketi will fight for survival. With two games each remaining, Tavua has eight points while Dreketi has seven.
