Vodafone Fiji prepaid customers can now redeem a free $20 top-up to stay in touch with family and friends around the country.

According to a statement from the company the offer was worth $15 million in free talk time and SMS and would benefit over 780,000 users on the Vodafone Network, including INKK Mobile subscribers.

This was part of Vodafone Fiji’s immediate flood and cyclone relief assistance.

Vodafone Fiji’s acting chief executive officer, Ronald Prasad said mobile communication was the only way to keep in contact especially when many people have been cut-off from others because of flooding and road closures.

The company stated subscribers on the Vodafone Network would be able to redeem the free talktime by dialling *212# to claim the free $20 top-up, starting midnight tonight.

The offer expires midnight Wednesday.
