MEMBERS of the public are advised that because of the measles outbreak that has been declared in the Central Division, the visiting hours at the CWM hospital have now been revised.

This is to ensure that members of the public, patients who come to the hospital, those admitted, and staff have very minimal chances for spreading the disease.

The new visiting hour now is from 2pm-3pm from Monday to Sunday.

The public is advised that only one visitor will be allowed to visit each patient during visiting hours.

Restrictions have been placed on visitations to the intensive care unit for children and adults.

It stated that the designated measles isolation wards would be in place.

The changes came into force today (Thursday, November 14, 2019).

Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted.
