Vina’s joy at voting

VINA Seru is happy she voted for a political party that will form the new government.
The reason why she voted for FijiFirst party is because the Prime Minister and party leader Rear Admiral (Ret) Voreqe Bainimarama did developments in her village which no other government had done, she said.
While votes were being counted in Suva over the past few days, Ms Seru, 50, was also a familiar face at the National Counting Centre.
Originally of Namosi Village but living at Caubati in Nasinu now, she was responsible for keeping the National Counting Centre, the FMF Gymnasium, clean.
“I have been working from 6am to 6pm since the counting of votes started and I’ve been very busy compared to my normal working days,” she said.
“I voted for FijiFirst because of the developments done in my Namosi Village by the Bainimarama government. And I’m happy that they have won the election.”
Ms Seru said she looked forward to seeing further improvements in people’s lives.
