Victorious Fiji 7s team arrives home to grand welcome

THE victorious Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team has arrived home.

The team was welcomed by hundreds of fans at the Nadi International airport this morning.

Also, present to welcome the team was heads of FRU and government officials.

The team was then given a traditional welcome at Nawaka Village in Nadi.

Present at the function were Prime Minister and President of the Fiji Rugby Union Voreqe Bainamarama and Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Kumar.

The western-based players will head home while the players from the Central Division will depart for Suva via road stopping at some villages along the way.

Fiji won the Paris 7s title on Monday and also took out the 2018/2019 World Sevens Series title.
