MIRI Veramu will be one of the names to watch for Saint Thomas High School at this year’s Lautoka Zone meet.

The Year Nine student ruled the junior girls 200m final during the school inter house competition at Lautoka’s Churchill Park this afternoon.

She dominated the race from the starting line and outpaced her fellow competitors to win the gold medal for her Xavier House.

Miri said her aim is to win gold at the zone meet and also at the Coke Games.
