A vehicle accident this morning at Ratu Dovi Rd in Nadera caused damage to the 11,000V and 415V power pole resulting in an outage for residents in the area.
Energy Fiji Ltd CEO Hasmukh Patel said their teams were carrying out power pole replacement works and was expected to be completed later this evening.
He said power supply to affected customers would be normalised this evening.
“EFL kindly remind drivers and machine operators to exercise caution while driving and maneuvering vehicles to avoid causing damage to EFL assets resulting in power disruptions,” Mr Patel said.
