Unplanned power outage due to technical fault – EFL

Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) teams have restored power supply to some of the affected areas in the Central Division in Viti Levu and will continue to restore power supply to the remaining areas.

EFL Chief Executive Officer & Director, Hasmukh Patel clarified this in a statement saying the unplanned power outage experienced in the Central Division this afternoon was due to a technical fault with the power system.

“EFL sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused to all our valued customers due to this unplanned power outage which was beyond our control.”
