Unasisi eyes JWHS

THE West Chow Games fastest girl athlete is keen to pursue her athletics career at Jasper Williams High School.
Nadroga sprint queen Unaisi Tagabale who won the won the best girl athletes for winning and setting records in the girls U14 100m and 200m events.
Unaisi said she was looking forward to continue from where she left off yesterday.
She said winning gold medals in the 100m and 200m finals really inspired her to continue working hard for the future.
The Year Eight student recorded 26.32seconds in the 200m final beating the old record of 27.66 and set a time of 13.02 in the 100m compared with the old record 13.19sec
“Firstly I am happy with my performance today especially to win the sprint events,” said Tagabale.
“I thank the Almighty Lord for his guidance, my coach for the encouragement and my parents for the support enabling me to reach this far.
“I am looking forward to join Jasper Williams High School next year and to continue my athletics career.”
The Nakorosule native of Naitasiri said the competition from her fellow competitors motivated her to win two gold medals for her team.
